The environment for medtech companies has grown riskier with new pressures being felt from investors, regulators, and payers. While these pressures are putting the ability of the industry to develop innovative new products at risk, they are also demanding that companies think beyond their traditional ways of operating to form new relationships with payers, providers, and patients.
