The high cost and long time it takes to develop a drug makes the life sciences a daunting area for startups. Entrepreneurs recently finished a class at the University of California, San Francisco that offered the lean startup method as a better alternative to traditional ways to start a company. We spoke to entrepreneur and author Steve Blank about the class, how the method can be applied to the life sciences, and whether there’s something here for older, more established companies to learn.
